This is my
marketplace for presets and actions.
Every year I declassify some of the previous years
actions and presets. I am currently using my
Pure (version 3) action to process my own
photos. Pure will be released sometime in the
next couple years; however, the process involves
third party filters that Photoshop lacks the
capability to reproduce. Luminance (Found in
the MAK Portrait Tool Kit) is based on Pure version
1. |

LR-Preset
Collection 1 gives you 6 color presets for your
final images, as well as some RAW import presets,
for those that are less advanced in making their own
RAW presets. You can tweak these presets to
fit your own needs; however, I feel they will give
you a good base to work with.
These are not the
same presets that I use in my work; however, I did
take care in creating them for others to use.
I tested these presets with a variety of images.
Some of the looks are conservative, and designed to
work with many types of images. Others work
better on certain images.
Feel free to try them
out for 30 days!
If you like these
presets, please pay the small $5.00 price to
continue using them legally. If you provide
your correct e-mail when you pay, you will get a
discount off version 2 (upon release).

MAK Portrait Tool Kit
v.1 is a good basic workflow for those that are
starting out in portrait photography. Some
tools, such as Luminance, are advanced and have many
steps. It is recommended that you have a newer
computer with at least 1 gigabyte of free RAM to use
these actions.
Some of these actions
use layer masks so you can paint over where you want
to apply the action. If you are not familiar
with layer masks, you may want to learn how to use
them first.
If you are not sure
about it, try it for 30 days!
If you like these
presets, please pay the $25.00 price to continue
using them legally. If you provide your
correct e-mail when you pay, you will get a discount
off version 2 (upon release). |

Contrast Plus
Contrast Plus is is a
very good action for boosting contrast without
loosing a lot of detail in darks. Feel free to
try out this tool before you buy it; however, keep
in mind that I work on the honor system. If
you want to keep these actions at a low cost, I need
your support.
This action, like
some of my others, involves many complex steps. It
is not recommended for older systems. You
should have plenty of free RAM.
If you like it, please pay the $5.00 to continue
using it legally! |

HDR Faux
HDR Faux does not go
to extremes. I limited some of the
manipulations I commonly see, such as adding a
lot of contrast to blues and greens to the extent it
does not work at all in certain pictures. As
is common, there is a slight halo effect caused by
the filters. |

Red Filter Black & White
Getting a good red
filtered look is not overly complicate; however,
this is not your standard red filter. There
are a lot of steps that go into making this special
filter. Although it is free, there are rights
reserved on this one. You may not use the
steps in the process on this one to make a filter of
your own. |

Saturation Plus
Use this tool to
boost saturation without looking too punchy.
This is far from the look that you get by adding
some saturation or by using curves in RGB mode.
This tool is not included in the portrait tool kit,
but might make a nice addition. Feel free to
make changes. |

OverExposed
This is a good action
to run on images that are slightly overexposed.
It cannot do anything for parts of the image that
are blown out (pure white); however, it is free, so
it may be worth a shot.
